Overwatch Beta Getting Ready To Return On February
Blizzard, the creator of the popular MOBA game, World Of Warcraft, announced another closed beta of their newest game-in-development, Overwatch which will return in mid-February. Unveiled back at BlizzCon 2014, Overwatch has been a highly anticipated game for its genre. Last the game entered closed beta was on 27th October in North America and Europe with now plans to come to Asia. It went “offline for an extended break” back in December, and now it is scheduled to come back with even more content in addition to the previous features such as Point Capture and Payload.
Overwatch forums updates on the game saying, “Rather than try to rush a beta patch out this month, we’re going to take a few extra weeks before bringing the closed beta back”. Developers stated that Overwatch just isn’t ready yet and needs, this time, period to “address player feedback, work on some core features, and adjust the balance of the game.” The developers are working hard to come up new game mode and finishing up some new maps.
Though Blizzard still says that these features are still a “work-in-progress” during the beta, but wants them to “be at a certain quality bar before releasing them for testing.” The game is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in the first or second quarter of 2016.
