Oculus Rift support comes to DiRT Rally next week
Codemasters has today announced that it will be adding Oculus Rift support to the PC version of the critically acclaimed DiRT Rally later this month. DiRT Rally, complete with VR support, will be available on the Oculus Store and via Steam as an update on July 11th. Watch the trailer to get a look at the upcoming feature.
As the press release reads, the update will ‘immerse players into the world of rally like never before as they take on some of the most challenging stages in the world as well as the incredible Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb event and multi-car racing at three locations in the FIA World Rallycross Championship.’ Though majority of gamers out there don’t own an Oculus Rift, no less a VR headset, we fail to see this the only sole point of sales on PC. The game itself looks great, is well optimized and is just fun to play. Whether it may attract more VR enthusiast or not, it certainly won’t lose any of racing game fans out there.
